There is a wresting interest meeting tomorrow, Wednesday November 1st, 2017 at 3:20pm by the tiger statue on the first floor outside the athletics office. If you cannot make the meeting contact the coaches. The wresting team is also looking for a videographer and statistician for their matches.
Pink Day Celebration is Friday, October 27th. The Stand Up 2 Cancer club will be selling lanyards, t shirts, tattoos, magnets and bracelets…. And giving ribbons with a donation. Look for them in the overpass and outside the glass doors in Post Lot. WEAR PINK! And, donate to help fight breast cancer.
As you likely know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. The Stand Up 2 Cancer Club will be organizing their annual fundraiser throughout the week next week culminating with their annual PINK PARADE on Friday, October 27th. To participate in the “Parade”, wear PINK on Friday, October 27th!! Pink shirt, pink shoes, pink tie, pink nails, pink hair, pink socks…it all works! You can also Make a donation directly with Ms. Rinaldi (advisor of the Stand Up 2 Cancer club) or at the SU2C table in the overpass on Friday. The club will also be selling pink ribbon lanyards ($5), THINK PINK t-shirts ($10), and pink ribbon tattoos ($1). The club hopes to see you there!
MHS – get out that loose change….Penny Wars returns to MHS on Monday, October 23 through Wednesday, October 25. For those that don’t know, Penny wars is a contest between the four classes to see which class can donate the most pennys! Something new for this year…. points will be given to each class for their DAILY total, as well as the final total. We will not be announcing daily winners until the Final Battle on October 25 at 6:00 in the Palmer Gym. Collection bins will be in the Library and the hallway. This year, proceeds from Penny Wars will go to help hurricane victims, prom scholarships and Student Council events fund. Good luck to all classes!

New this year, the MHS Human Rights Club is for any student interested in discussing human rights violations and taking action against them. The club will meet every other Thursday at lunch, so be sure to sign up at the upcoming CLUB FAIR!
