MHS – get out that loose change….Penny Wars returns to MHS on Monday, October 23 through Wednesday, October 25. For those that don’t know, Penny wars is a contest between the four classes to see which class can donate the most pennys! Something new for this year…. points will be given to each class for their DAILY total, as well as the final total. We will not be announcing daily winners until the Final Battle on October 25 at 6:00 in the Palmer Gym. Collection bins will be in the Library and the hallway. This year, proceeds from Penny Wars will go to help hurricane victims, prom scholarships and Student Council events fund. Good luck to all classes!
Next Monday and Tuesday, Freshman and Sophomore BOTC shirts will be sold for $10 outside Carol Schefflers office. Be sure to get your shirt in time to display your class colors!
The deadline for Freshman to sign up for Student Council Elections and to sign up for an interview for an editing position on the Mahiscan Staff is Wednesday, September 13. Be sure to stop by Carol Scheffler’s Office (in the overpass) if you are interested!
